Especially when work can take you halfway across the globe for weeks at a time, there is something inherently sweet about getting married close to home… fittingly, Nicoll and Laura chose Half Moon Bay, where they have lived, hiked and played with their sweet pup, Tanner, for so many years. With their wide circle of friends and family all on hand to celebrate their union, it was clear to me in this sunlit setting just how much they love and are supported in return. Tears flowed, there were endless embraces, hundreds of smiles. Two families really did become one that day, and my husband Tom and I were incredibly honored to capture it all. We are grateful! The biggest bonus to photographing Nicoll and Laura’s wedding was the unexpected surprise of the four of us becoming friends – we can’t wait to go tromping along the coastal trails and hang out with them and their sweet ole’ pup Tanner!
